You may noticed that these guys --and a girl- keep appearing in this blog;
they are the spotlights of my current small personal project CSPP for short then.
So far, I'm working on the girl's rendering and done with the guy on left -
I'm leaving the main guy for last, since I think I'll enjoy rendering him the most.
As usual this trio is following the common trope of long-time friends since small,
though they (left guy and right girl) have potential to be deuteragonists.
Boy
It's super hard to design this boy and the girl, he caused me to spend lots of papers.
Lots of em. And that I still keep calling him "Charles" even though
I've decided to change his name.
He supposed to look normal enough; a boy who still know how to dress himself
without overdoing it.He has rivalry with the girl, just name her "Kelly"
because that's what I did so far and supposedly subtle inferior complex to the other guy.
His right eye? He's blind on that since birth, so he's used to it.
Girl
One prominent character - competitive, very competitive. If I may say, it's almost like she's a feminist.
So her design should be strong yet people can still see she's from a higher-class family
since her parents would still educate and dress her so...which is quite a challenge for me, again.
Plain Guy
Because he has almost no interest at dressing himself up, can't help but call him this.
He's taken from another story so it's much more easier to design him.
He's one-two years senior from Charles and Kelly, he's someone who's not too imaginative-
more oriented to excel at what's given straight to him; like getting a job after graduating
and get married after that, he has that kind of mindset.
Extras
These are how I normally sketch
with those pens that has multi colors on em, since it's super practical.
Now you should know why I'm shy-ing away from scanning them.
